These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PrayHabit mobile application ("App") operated by PrayHabit ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

PrayHabit is a prayer habit-building application that provides:

• Personalized daily prayers generated using artificial intelligence.
• App-blocking functionality during scheduled prayer times using Apple's Screen Time framework.
• Prayer tracking, streaks, and analytics.
• A personal prayer diary.
• Configurable prayer time reminders.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Account and Data

The App does not require you to create an account. Your data, including your name, prayer history, and preferences, is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

• Certain features of the App require a paid subscription.
• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and policies.
• Subscription prices are displayed in the App before purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

6. Screen Time and App Blocking

The App uses Apple's Screen Time and FamilyControls framework to block apps you select during your prayer times. By enabling this feature, you acknowledge that:

• You are choosing to restrict your own access to selected apps during scheduled times.
• Blocked apps will be inaccessible until you complete your prayer or the blocking period ends.
• An emergency unlock option is available if you need immediate access.
• We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from apps being blocked, including missed notifications or communications.

7. AI-Generated Content

Prayers generated by the App are created using artificial intelligence (Google Gemini). While we strive for meaningful and accurate content:

• AI-generated prayers are intended as a spiritual aid, not a replacement for personal prayer or professional spiritual guidance.
• Bible verses referenced in prayers may be paraphrased. We recommend verifying exact wording with an authoritative Bible source.
• We do not guarantee the theological accuracy of all generated content.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality.
• Attempt to circumvent the App's security features.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and trademarks associated with the App are the property of PrayHabit. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrayHabit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to damages resulting from app-blocking functionality.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
